We have again chosen the Accelerated Cure Project as our fund raising beneficiary. Our goal this year is to have 25 fund raising cyclists raise at least $3,000 each to further the Accelerated Cure Projet's impressive work. For more information regarding ACP please visit: www.acceleratedcure.org.
2009 Ride ItInerary*
Oct 5th: Sausilito, Warm up ride. 35 miles.
Tiburon Peninsula loop. Beautiful views of the San Francisco and the Bay Area.
Oct 6th: Sausilito, Mt. Tamalpais Loop. 80 miles.
Ride through the Marin headlands and the famous Mt. Tam!
Oct 7th: Sausilito to Bodega Bay, Dramatic Costal Ride, 63 miles.
Ride along the dramatic coast line through Pt. Reyes National Seashore to Bodega Bay. Work that appetite up for the catch of the day freash seafood!
Oct 8th: Bodega Bay to Healdsburg, Ride to Wine Country, 55 miles.
Costal views, steep climbs and giant redwoods await you on your journey into Sanoma's faomous wine country resort town of Healdsburg.
Oct 9th: Healdsburg, Wine Country Loop, 54 miles.
Wind through the famous Alexander Valley vineyards and the 3000' climb of Geyeser Rd. Then, follow the Russian River back to town in time for some wine tasting!
Oct 10th: Healdsburg, Levi's Loop, 90 miles.
Ride like the pros. This ride features some wine country warm up miles followed by some of Levi's favorite climbs. Follow the costal mountain roads to the sea and head back along the Russian River. Much of this ride was featured in the Tour of California.
Oct 11th: Departure Day.
