Rat Pack

PETALUMA, California (AP) — A man who had 1,300 rats removed from his home by animal control officers said that he originally bought several as pets, but that they were “a force of nature” that soon bred out of control.

Now they can’t give them away fast enough, so many will be euthanized soon.

Hey Molly, they’re in California …

  1. HEY, GUYS. HOW’RE THEY HANGIN? (is that ok?) Lavonne sure is cute. Is that how you spell her name? I didn’t know what it meant—the article, etc. on what the Soft was “dropping”. Many things that I don’t know…but, life seems to go on. I have no plans this weekend other than my continued claim construction…sigh. 6-12 hrs a day, I work on it! Jamal and Jenn are talking Costa Rica very soon. I want to go! Told him about that club in the downed plane. Am on a topic here? OK. have a safe and fun filled holiday weekend, hons.
    much love,

  2. Great to hear from you, Marsha! Yes, you’re always on-topic … whatever you talk about, that’s the topic.

I’m putting together an email to send you later today with some pics I’ve dredged up to help in the battle against the Good Hands folks. May bad hands prevail.

  3. (Hello from Boston - hittin’ the road back to Chicago tomorrow.)

This one reminds me of the rat-worshipping temple you went to in India. Or was it Nepal? Either way, that’s a lot of rats. I had one rat, and even that was too much for most people.

  4. Drive careful. It’s pretty much I-90 all the way, right? The interstate highway system turned 50 this week, so it’s a good time to get out and take advantage of it.
