Yeah, I had one of those handy PCMCIA adapters, but the need to go 100% Vista has left me with one that doesn't work. (Don't know if Delkin has an updated driver yet, but they didn't two months ago when I made the switch.)

Man, Wikigate is everyone where. It will be interesting to see whether I get asked about it in any of the Q&A sessions I'll be doing here.

Cable? ... Cable?... You don't need no stinkin' cable - just take the compact flash card out of your camera and pop it into your laptop with your PCMCIA/CF card adapter (not they're not expensive and it saves on camera battery life too).

BTW - I'm siting here listening to the podcast of Monday's "This Week in Tech" (Leo Laporte, John C. Davorak, plus Patric Norton & Robert Heron of DLTV).

Guess what they lead of with - the "Microsoft tries to hire someone to edit Wikipedia" story.

Namaste, George! Yes, I'm in Delhi.

Tracy, I think I was over Kazakhstan at the predicted time, although they turned off the big TV screen in the plane and I forgot to take a picture of the event. Then at the airport, it was a bit of a zoo, I finally got to my room after 24 hours of flying, and of course I can't sleep. I slept a couple of hours, then back up working before 5:00.

Oh well, I'm only here a few days, why bother adjusting to the time zone for that?

Hey, I won't be posting any pictures until I get back, unless I happen to pick up a cable tomorrow for my D70. I left mine at home. Oh well, it's going to be a busy week, what's left of it. But Saturday I have a day free for sightseeing.

Namasté

If you are reading this you must be in Delhi.

By the way, check YOUR math? - I don't think that will be necessary.

gee doug, how embarrassing if you _had_ missed your flight and this posted. oh the shame. claiming to be over kazakhstsan while stuck at sea-tac. i'm sure there's a lame borat joke in there somewhere, but i'm not that clever so i'll leave it to someone else.

by the way, i like that after all the wikibutt mud through which you have so gallantly trudged, you still link things to wikipedia. trudge on brother.
