Nephew Phil is here for the weekend. While helping him install World of Warcraft on my work PC (God help us all), I’ve been learning about the Flash animations that are popular with 6-foot 13-year-olds who wear size-16 shoes.

I always thought I was the only one who loved noodles that much.
You know, he’s probably heard of it, but the Flying Spaghetti Monster seems like something he might enjoy.
And Homestar Runner. It seems to be on an anime kick right now.

Oh, and hey, take him to the barbecue place Megan took me to. They’ve got lots of good grub for growing Mahughs there.

Hey, Phil knew about Homestar Runner but not FSM. And he’s so glad somebody thought to click on the noodles.
We’re on the Microsoft campus now, and Phil is getting Megan hooked on some Xbox game …

Yeah, Nick, the same thing happened to us yesterday, and we thought something was broken but then it worked later. I think that site may be a bit flaky. As well as irreverent.

Mmm … ribs …
Glad I could turn another young mind on to Flying Spaghetti Monster — we should all be so lucky as to be touched by His Noodly Appendage.

Phil didn’t happen to show you “The sign”, did he? My personal favorite. Part 2 was okay, but I think it took it a bit too far. But that’s just my professional opinion.

Nice use of the plastic wrap filter on Phil’s shirt. I always wondered what that would be useful for.
And the noodles thing was hilarious. Marcus enjoyed it even more since he himself is a fan of the ramen.
