Friday the 13th, part 2 of N
We’ve had funner weekends. Fish is safe, and in Megan’s doghouse, after romping around the neighborhood all night Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday morning Megan spotted telltale Fish vomit on the front porch, and within minutes he was in her angry arms.
He has been self-righteously aloof ever since. He learned nothing.

Glad to hear he’s back — he was quite accommodating to me when I was out there with you guys. As were you both, too, of course!
Sounds like quite a CSI moment with the vomit.

Yes, discovering familiar vomit comes as a great relief. I was caring for our neighbor’s cat, Ernie, last week and after the first visit I thought I had somehow lost him. I crawled under beds and couches looking for him. After about the fourth day I really thought he had somehow escaped the house until I noticed a fresh poop in the litter box. What a relief to be able to scoop out that tell tale sign of his presence!

Based on those last two comments, I have submitted a proposed story line to the producers of CSI … stay tuned.

Apropos of nothing, I wonder what the odds are of taking a random shot of a street and getting a couple on a tandem bike.
Tell Fish he can come here and hide out for a while if he needs to wait for things to cool off with Megan. Just give him my address — he’s apparently quite adept at getting around on his own.

Tom, the odds of that were pretty good in our neighborhood this weekend. I’d say we saw at least a dozen that day, and I also saw a 3-person bike. Plus a couple thousand other bikes — there was some kind of bicycling event going on, and there was a steady stream of them going past our house all morning.
I almost settled for a couple of guys on bikes in that shot, but I saw the tandem coming and waited a minute.

is that the notorious vomit pile in the background photo of the food/water/fish-bait? or is it something i don’t want to know about?
