OK, I did it. Two days in a row. I didn't get out this morning because work conspired against me, but I ran at 6:00PM. It was rather pathetic, because I'm quite sore from yesterday, but I got in a mile or so and then walked up and down the steep hills at a brisk pace until I was nice and sweaty.

The knees are OK, it's the muscles, lungs and heart that seem weak. Tomorrow I may need to do the elliptical at the gym, though, to minimize the pounding. Or a nice bike ride if I get home in time.

A hot dog sounds great, actually.

Just watch your knees, man -- nothing makes you fatter faster than bad knees. And as I recall, you've got quite a hack-job zipper up the front of at least one of yours. Not that I spend a lot of time checking out your pins, baby ...

I'm impressed by your drive -- I find myself with almost no motivation to work out. It's not that it's not fun to do -- when we were on vacation at the beginning of the month, I worked out in the gym in the resort every day (except the day I golfed) and loved it. But man, you're right -- something about life's usual routine makes it hard to find an hour and a half to do it.

Anyhow, we're moving soon and I'm sure I'll be doing a great deal of lifting that I shouldn't be doing. So maybe after that I'll get back at it. Of course, there's a great hot dog stand a perfect walk away from our new house ... man, it's no wonder I stink at this.
