I tuned out before I saw the elephants, as I couldn't get past the red dresses and wishing that I could have been in the take. Linda discovered yesterday that when she died and came back after being off line for over 3 months that she has NO microsoft software installed anymore. Is that possible???? She can't do anything on her computer but gamble and e-mail. But, since she is so ashamed of the fact, she will not ask for help or assistance. (She sort of mentioned that maybe Jamal could do a remote and help her install some, and we both said, "yeah, right." and moved on to our more important world discussions). She is being prompted to " please place Microsoft disc in CD Rom" What disc? Can't find those blue cards you gave me early this year for help. I had given her some and she lost them immediately. Same day. Poor Auntie Lindy. All I could advise her to do was right click on properties and pray. Or, go to the library. love, love. (I usually see his stuff in my RSS reader and not "in context" on his site.) Speaking of, I'm thinking of migrating from Bloglines to a different RSS strategy, but haven't made up my mind which way to go yet. I know people who are big fans of Google Reader, RSS Bandit, Newsgator, and Outlook for RSS chores, but I'm still thinking about what combination of online/offline capabilities I really want/need.
