I wish everyone had been here also, as does Andy.
Doug became his best friend and was utterly crushed when they left him and his little suitcase by the door. He thought (as I had told him) that he would be starting a new life in Seattle.

I guess I’ll have to try that hike myself soon. Or, maybe in the Spring–it is so cold here!

Lynn–You’re trying to sell the boat on EBAY? Wow. Do you still have 2 boats or just the one?

Meg and Doug–thanks for everything. Miss you already and am mucho serious about the next family meet in the hills of Alabama. Carve out some time for that, and let’s plan to tear the greens of the courses up!

Meg, started to call you yesterday when I saw that Joanne’s beadery stuff was 40% off–that’s where I got the gold plated spacers, although Black Market is still likely the best quality and you can do that online.

Yes, you should have been there, and Stella and Elton too. Have you ever done the Stone Mountain hike? It’s nice, if not exactly secluded, and the view of Atlanta’s skyline was better than I expected.

OK, so … truth be told, I did exactly that, had a drink while posting the photos. But I thought if I suggested that not commenting would drive me to drink more, I’d get a comment out of my mom. Somehow I knew that you’d see right through my ruse.

I’ve been taking it all in. Wish I had been there too. You look like you’re having so much fun. And the dogs, Stella would have fit in perfectly. Hum, and Elton too, he would have loved to have that extra drink with you if you hadn’t spent so much time communicating with the two moms. But tell me, why couldn’t you have had that extra drink sitting at the computer? I need to talk to you about posting something with a photo on Craigs list. Never done it and need to right away. I have the CD of photos, three of which I need to post but don’t know how to do it. Have that extra drink and think about it. Thanks. Love, Lynn
