I cheated ... I heard it on NPR recently, and looked it up online to get the spelling right. ;-) I know just enough French to understand simple sentences, and even less Spanish. Oh, but I just remembered another German word I know, that I learned from Lisa Simpson: schadenfrade. A fun word to know sometimes. I wish I had grown up around more languages. Childhood is a good time for learning time-consuming things like languages. Unfortunately, that’s a good percentage of the German I know right there.
