Happy birthday, Molly!

For my sister-in-law’s amusement, here are a few pictures from this evening, including Murg (the cat you always remind me I don’t take enough pictures of), and Megan sharing her facial supplies to give me a headial …

  1. Eek.

  2. You look ready for jungle combat in that 4th pic.

  3. Better safe than sorry around here. Leschi’s not what it used to be.

  4. Cute.

  5. That fourth pic has kind of a Chia Pet quality to it. If they made one like that, I’d buy it (this from the guy who currently has seven Chia Pets festering in his house — my dad gave Nora all the ones I jokingly gave him for several Christmases, and she wanted to plant them all).

  6. Yeah, it was a little ragged, but Megan got the mixture much creamier when she did her face (photo #3).

Now I’m hooked on the concept. Like manicures, pedicures, and massage, getting a facial/headial is something I can’t believe I didn’t try sooner. Do it, guys!

  7. wait a minute– didn’t i comment on this one? where did it go?

  8. It’s my fault, Molly: I accidentally deleted everything in the moderation queue this week. It’s often 100% spam, but apparently you had some comments in there. Sorry!

Once you’ve had a comment approved, it should let your future comments post immediately, without going to the moderation queue. That’s the theory, anyway.

  9. You know, I never did a facial, but I used to get my hair cut at a fancy-pancy place where they would wash it for me before and after the cut. There’s NOTHING like someone vigorously rubbing your head with warm stuff. So I can see how a head facial (so to speak) must feel great.

Still not sure about the pedicure — it sure looks like it feels good, though.
