I was guessing. But surely there must be some sort of lighting or filter that would bring the patterns out.

It's all in the photographer, Molly. They're actually quite homely. Oh yeah, Murg went out, but she was so skittish I couldn't get a picture of her and then she darted back in.

Tad, is that true? I may need to get some ultraviolet lights.

I think that once a month thing is per cat anyway and it's transferable like those carbon emission credits if one of you cats is shy.

Post as many cat photos as you like. In fact, I have a request: can you take some under ultraviolet light so we can see the patterns in their fur? When I first learned that they were not truly solid grey, I thought it was *so* cool I almost ran out and got a grey cat. It also made me wonder: does this mean cat vision can make out those patterns?

Cool, Marsha. Is there an online page we can link to? Or maybe we can scan that page -- seems like it should be out on the internets so you can email links around.

Hey Jamal, I'll be in DC the next three days. Busy night and day, but if I get hospitalized again I'll be sure to give you call. :-)

when did the boys start going "out"?!
Fish's forray into the great beyond has been forgotten/forgiven forever?

Speaking of which (heh heh heh)--the great beyond, that is:

Just in case anyone is perusing the winter 2007 issue of The Nature Conservancy Magazine ( "Hidden Wilderness" nature.org/magazine ), you might want to turn to page 78...ho hum...

the back of that gorgeous head touting the ad campaign caption : "Save the Earth while you work...Workplace Giving..." just so happens to by that of my wonderson, Jamal Harris (National Donor Strategist of same said)...ho hum, o hum o hum....

Yes, saving the earth he is....just one wee of his many gifts to the planet...

" protecting nature. preserving life"( I'm SO proud--doesn't show, does it? Don't know if he would approve of any boasting or such. But, he's just so cute and good and sincere, you know?)
