Congratulations all over again! I don't think you had any shots of the basement before -- that's beautiful. Are they going to leave the djembe for you? :)

When do you figure you'll be sleeping there? Six weeks to move is very cushy, but I'm sure you guys are itching to get in there. We've had a couple moves where we had a nice long overlap like that, and it was a huge load off. It gets a little hard to go back to the old place for the last bits when you're so pumped about being in the new place, but it beats hell out of having to do it all in one day.

And being VP of Everything Except Open XML could be a bad job or a good job, depending on the day, the tides, and whatever the Slashdotters are bonking on about!

Scott, we're not touching any big stuff this weekend or you'd have probably heard about it. :-)

Step 1 is planning which rooms to paint and a few other little things we'd like to do before there's a bunch of stuff in every room and cats bouncing off the walls. We're going to move sloowwwly ... we have six weeks remaining on our lease, so no rush.

Hi Marsha, I fear your post may have been lost in the spam. Sometimes posts are in the spam folder, and when I get busy that grows to hundreds of entries that I browse through to check whether there are any "real" comments before deleting them. So if I don't notice your comment within the stream of mortgage offers, penis enhancers, and other silliness, it can get deleted. I did that to Molly on her birthday, and she's only been a shell of her former self ever since. (Here, anyway.) It happens.

As for money in accounts, that's Megan's job as VP of Everything Except Open XML in our company. Speaking of, have to run to a meeting ... XOXO

I had left a comment the other day (the day in which you said that your responses to sent e-mails was ...coming soon...or some such. (I thought since my last e-mail to you spoke specifically of putting $ into your accounts I might ...well, expect a reply. But, hey. Life AND a new house....what can I say?) about loving your new pics and having taken the gran 'to your new house' and some of the comments she made about it, etc, etc. But...sigh. The comments didn't appear (to the best of my knowledge) and I thought maybe the connect troubles (I spoke on that with great enthusiasm and personal experience) were not so taken care of with respect to OTHERS or...more likely....my 'danger', such as is experienced in Meg's personal e-mails from me had bled onto your site....("Aunt, you are considered so dangerous that ...")

ho hum
happy, happy, Hons. We love you dearly and the gran is estatic about the house.
