Painting finished, Fish is Fish

I know, I’ve been kind of boring lately with the occasional photos of painting and not much else. But that’s how life at home has been lately: full of boring painting. And now this evening a milestone has been reached: we’re done with all of the pre-move painting, and the first floor is more or less the way we want it. I don’t intend to rinse out a roller for some time now.

Meanwhile, Fish continues to explore. These photos are the tip of the iceberg, of course.

  1. Okay, I’ll ask — does Fish get up on the door himself somehow, or does he need to be placed there?

  2. He leapt up there, just to check it out. He’s like that. And he often tries to leap onto or into a place unsuccessfully, flaying away with his arms before falling back to earth. No stone unturned.

Hey Tom, happy belated birthday! I recall thinking it was your birthday, but was having so much fun schlepping boxes I forgot to mention it.

  3. I assume he’s leaping off of something — if he’s getting there from the floor, you need to get him on Letterman!

Thanks — had a very nice, laid-back birthday. It was the first nice day around here in a while, so we ate breakfast on the deck. Good thing we did, too — it’s crummy out again here.

  4. Straight from the floor — he’s really a maniac about that stuff.
